Pink Day on Ragbrai - 2022

Velorosa has a long-standing tradition of "Pink Day" on Ragbrai and we're excited to keep the tradition going in 2022!

What's Pink Day? 

If you're a Velorosa team member we encourage you to wear your team kit for the day, meet up for a photograph and ride some miles together.  Historically we have held the Velorosa Pink Day on Wednesday but because that's designated as the 100-mile day we understand a lot of teams will be leaving early or may only be riding part of the day. Also based on team feedback in the Facebook group poll, this year we're going to hold it on Tuesday, July 26 Pocahontas to Emmetsburg. 

Timeline:

• 7:50am - Meet @ Udder Cow - 206 NW 7th St, Pocahontas, IA 50574, USA
• 8:00 am - Team Photo 
• 8:10 am - Let's Roll! 

Other Info & FAQ:

--> What if I can't make the photo? That's ok, we hope you'll consider wearing your Velorosa team kit for the day anyway.

--> What if I want to ride the gravel route instead of the road route? Terrific, we hear there will be groups of Velorosa women riding both and Ragrai has made it so both routes use the same pass-through towns.

--> Do I have to ride with Velorosa all day? Nope, jump in and out as it works best for you :-)
